I have worked as a translator (EN/DE and DE/EN) and proofreader (DE and EN) since graduating from university in 2016. My academic training spans German and English contexts, including one year at Bard College Berlin (English-taught Value Studies program), a BA in Philosophy and Theatre, Film and Media Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt, studies in Fine Arts at the HfBK Städelschule Frankfurt, as well as two semesters in the MA Anglophone Modernities in Literature and Culture at the University of Potsdam. I work with care, precision, and a keen sensitivity to tone and audience. Known for being quick, reliable, and attentive, I value linguistic clarity as much as nuance and adaptability. My English is near-native, certified by the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (C2).
